Fabulous practice. Kind and consistent staff. All the other dental offices have a rotating set of new employees at every visit that never knows what’s going as they try to ask for payment up front despite having insurance! Ken Caryl Dentistry is professional, friendly and extremely competent. Every employee is the same every time I come to an appt. This shows they are valued and cared for by the practice . Never once was there any confusion on insurance or an inappropriate bill sent. This review is coming from a health professional who has managed many doctor’s offices. I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone.
March,2025 I had several teeth removed, Dr. Greg and his teammate Wendy were amazing through my ordeal ( having dental work is not my favorite thing to do). They were both kind and patient and most of all I was impressed by the capable, knowledgeable and professional care I received. No doubt about, I received 5 Star treatment! I highly recommend Dr. Greg and his team!
Unethical, Careless, and Profiteering — A Deeply Disappointing Experience I rarely leave reviews, but I feel morally obligated to share my experience with Ken Caryl Dentistry and Dr. Greg Herzberg. When I first visited this office about 3 years ago, I was 4–5 months pregnant. Despite clearly noting my pregnancy on the intake form, the staff proceeded to perform radiation scans without even reviewing my form. The process was rushed, impersonal, and ultimately careless — something no expectant mother should have to endure. That alone was alarming, but it didn’t stop there. After my baby was born, I returned for a full set of X-rays. Dr. Herzberg informed me that I had five cavities. Having only ever had one or two in my life, this immediately raised red flags. I took the X-rays to a different dentist for a second opinion — they confirmed that I had no active cavities, only one spot to monitor that hadn’t even breached the enamel. The story gets worse. In the meantime, my husband also established care at the same office. Can you guess how many cavities they told him he had? Five. This is not just a pattern of over-diagnosis — it’s a deeply troubling business model that seems more focused on padding invoices than serving patients ethically. Dentistry is supposed to be about trust, care, and transparency. This office failed on all three counts. If you’re considering Ken Caryl Dentistry, I urge you to get a second opinion before letting them do anything irreversible. Our health — and our trust — should not be taken advantage of to help fund their lifestyle. Bottom line: Careless with health. Aggressive with diagnoses. Unethical in practice. Stay away.
We have been very happy with Ken Caryl Dentistry, especially the hygienist, Julia. The practice has open, clear communication re: treatments needed and insurance coverage. Julia is detailed, professional and personable. She give great tips and is passionate about what she does. She has a great balance of conversation while being genuine. All 3 members of our family are happy with the care she provided and the honesty of the doctors.
Great place to get work done. Got me in and out within the hour and I’m now a happy customer. They also helped out in a time in need and I can’t thank them enough! Will return later in the year for more dental work to be done!!
