I rarely write reviews , but when a 90 year old woman is taken advantage of, I am writing one. My mother has Delta insurance and for years goes to the dentist to get a cleaning and a couple X-rays. Dentist of Greenwood is close so she decided to go there. They said she needed a “deep cleaning” and she said she just wanted a normal cleaning like she has always had. They refused to do a regular cleaning and she left without having her teeth cleaned. She received a bill for almost 1200 dollars. Delta insurance is not paying any of it. 1200 dollars for what? There is a list of itemized things that no one can understand . She didn’t even get her teeth cleaned ! This does not end with just a review. I see many reviews like this so action needs to be taken before more innocent people are scammed.
if I could give zero stars I would. My husband just went in here as a new patient to get a basic teeth cleaning. His teeth are perfectly fine. He normally goes to the dentist twice a year. We just moved here so we were looking for a new dentist. They off the bat told him he was at risk for gum disease and was telling him to get a deep cleaning, made him get x-rays, try to get him to have them take off his permanent retainer. Once he was hesitant to say OK to a deep cleaning. they refused to even give him a cleaning as they were too scared as he was at risk for severe gum disease… supposedly. This place is a complete scam. Do yourself a favor and do not go here unless you want to get quoted $6000 for a deep cleaning of the mouth.
The two stars are because they made a quick effort to refill my prescription due to an active infection. I am aware that I have not had the best dental health as of recent. However, my primary focus was fixing a root canal that was causing me pain. Dentists of Greenwood found the infection, which I was grateful for. They gave me antibiotics to help soothe the pain, which I was also grateful for. What troubles me is their communication style, both inside and outside of the office. After reviewing my xray with the endodontist from an appointment on March 26th, they decided my tooth with the root canal and crown couldn't be saved. Did they call to tell me that? No, they didn't. Instead, they cancelled my appointment without warning. Didn't tell me that either. I had to call on Friday to find out. I would've stayed with this dentist, had it not been for this fact. You have someone with an active infection, you cancel on them without warning, and they have to call to find out. Tried to push treatment on me as well, when I just wanted the pain in my tooth to stop. The reviews are all the same. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Over the last few months I’ve had to get some serious care done (i.e. Root Canal, Crown) and Dr. Neubauer’s office was great at helping me through the whole process. When it came to the overall procedural cost, the staff was quick to figure out the best options for me to pay and did not pressure me in any way. The Hygienists and Assistant's were very kind and showed a true enjoyment in their work which helped the experience tremendously. I recommend this office to anyone who lives in the area and is looking for a new dentist.
Excellent service provided by the team! Dr. Neubauer, Marta & Julissa were all helpful in navigating me through the double crown process I recently received. I would recommend Dentists of Greenwood Village to anyone seeking a competent, professional and caring team of dental professionals!
