This place is so amazing! First time I came was today for a perm and the salon was so clean and sanitized and the hair stylist was so amazing! She was friendly and super patient! I have super thick hair and she did a fabulous job! I was a last minute call in and they got me in right away! She made my hair so Beautiful! I will recommend 100% and come back! Both ladies were super friendly and great at what they do! I recommend this place for sure!!
I most trust this place with my hair out of anywhere in the city. It’s a very simple, straightforward space with some decor throughout but it means to me that they’re about their business. I always feel very welcome and the stylists always do an incredible job. Thank you, crew!
I’m honestly shocked that this place has such high reviews. My sister and I went in at the same time to get a haircut. We requested similar styles but we both got vastly different results. Mine turned out fine, but my sister’s stylist completely butchered hers, she lowkey free styled it and messed up big time. My sister showed her pictures as reference, but she somehow can’t understand the difference between shoulder length and neck length. She cut it so short that it can’t even be tied in a ponytail. When we came back to request a refund, the stylist kept denying and insisting she did as my sister requested and was reluctant to give the refund. The customer service is horrible as they aren’t willing to take accountability. Did I mention that each of us got charged a different price even though we requested a similar style? My sister now has to go get extensions elsewhere because that’s how badly she screwed up. We will not be coming back ever again.
Have been to Magic Hair Salon several times before today. Always take in a picture of the cut I want. Have always been pleased with the results. Until today! Someone I've have never seen cutting hair before did not even come close to the picture I had. She cut my hair so short I wanted to cry after she was done. Was so upset I wanted to scream. Will never have her cut my hair again. That is if I ever go back. My hair is about a 1/2 inch long, cut around my ears and bangs that are almost not there. She did not talk or ask how I wanted it cut even though I had a picture. Did what she wanted and not what I wanted. Can't even give a 1 star. Cried most of the way home. Looks like I have to give at least 1 star to be able to post this.
Do not recommend for the men out there who want to keep their hair long or mid length. I've been a regular here for over 3 years and as of lately I've asked specifically that i wanted to keep my hair how it is overall, no trim, and just a fade on the sides just to reshape my hair yet they proceeded to trim and cut my hair almost completely short after months of growing it out too, and it's gotten repetitive no matter how I try to explain it differently to the barbers there. This isnt the kind of service most customers will be satisfied about and willing to trust rather than wanting to avoid this place for similar reasons. The service isn't like how it used to be anymore either I hope this changes in the future.
