Last weekend, my family sent me for the works for my birthday. I shave my head and have a full beard. I have never done anything like this in my life. And this was probably one of the best birthdays I've ever had. Ear, nose, and eyebrow wax is nothing to fear here, and I would do it again. Probably soon, as it's only $40. Friendly and FUN!!!
Victoria is amazing. She is professional, very knowledgeable, and super friendly. My appointment was so relaxing and I left feeling and looking great! I really appreciate the personal touch she brings and my experience was excellent, I have nothing but positive things to say about Victoria! It was my first time at Frank’s and I definitely enjoyed it. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I appreciated the man cave style waiting area and the vibe of the whole space. Very clean and comfortable. I will be going back again.
Having lived in Denver two years now, it's been extremely difficult to find a barbershop here that does quality work and is not rushing you out of the chair for their next clients. I decided to give Frank's a shot and wow, so glad I did! I booked online which was super simple, and got there early to grab a parking spot since it is downtown off Larimer. Headed inside, was greeted/checked in and was told to wash my hands which I liked. They then asked if I wanted anything to drink and it being my day off, I went the local craft beer route and got a Strawberry Rhubarb Sour Ale by Great Divide (their beer selection is spot on, even got a koozie for the can). I was then told to take a seat in their lounge area dubbed the "man cave" which is the only thing I happened to take pictures of while there. They had all kinds of things available while waiting, from chips, snacks, suckers, even condoms which I thought was a nice touch. I hung out in there for a few minutes before Addison came and introduced herself and took me to her chair. Now back home in Houston, I had the same barber for about 7 years and I have spent some time here in Denver looking for anyone comparable to her- and I think Addison just may be that fit. She was amazing, listened to every detail on what I was looking for with a haircut, and was very personable but also professional. I was so impressed by her work I'll definitely be going back and requesting her as well. Highly recommend her for anyone reading this review! My bar is set pretty high, and she went above and beyond. Facility was very nice and well kept, loved how clean everything was. A couple of pro tips, get there early because of street parking. I went during the day which was fine, but you always need to be prepared going downtown to find a spot unless you are walking/scooting/biking. Coors Field is two blocks away, so I can see parking not even being an option during baseball season. Also Addison told me a lot of people book in the evening and come in for a beer and a cut, then head out on the town afterwards which is not a bad place to be to get the night started!
Levi always does a great job with my haircuts. Been coming for close to 3 years and he's never disappointed. Super friendly and always a pleasure to see. Can't recommend him or this salon enough.
My stylist was really nice. But I have to say that this was the most awkward, unblended fade I’ve ever had. The stylist seemed to lack experience with men’s fades. At some point I felt my stomach turn, as I sensed her lack of confidence. I provided several reference pictures and plenty of feedback along the way. Eventually I accepted my fate. I’m sure some of the barbers here know what they are doing with men’s hair. Unfortunately, I drew the short straw this time around.
