Doctor lab work were fine. Discussion with the MD went fine.
There was however an administrative billing related issue! I was not told of a ‘office visit’ charge that I will be billed for despite me asking more than a few times about this fixed cost during the appointment. During the visit I had asked Diana at front reception again multiple times and was told my total cost for the visit will be around ‘$150’. This to me meant $150 inclusive that I will be paying! There is a reason why I had made this appointment well in advance so that they had a chance to review my insurance coverage and provide a good faith estimate before the visit!
Two weeks later after my visit, my insurance got billed for $342 for this office visit plus the lab fees which came up to $157 for my share. My share of this office visit charge came up to around $129. I went to the office to clarify and was told by Shayna that I ‘signed a paper’ that mentions the ‘$150’. Per Shayna, this might have been a misunderstanding!
I guess the office staff are themselves disconnected from the billing breakdown as this ‘signed paper’ mentions only that the $150 needs to be paid on service date that will apply towards the total bill! There was no mention of the ‘office visit’ charge that will be added on!
Very disappointed as these fixed ‘office visit’ costs are not mentioned even when you cross examine several people before the appointment.

Dr.Fliney is an outstanding cataract surgeon. He combines a high level of surgical expertise -backed by the high number of surgeries he performs each year- with excellent communication skills. Both his office and surgical staff are efficient, friendly and professional, making the entire experience smooth and reassuring from start to finish.

I saw Dr. Flinney to assess a minor problem which developed prior to my cataract surgery. He was very professional and informative and let me know that it would not preclude having the surgery done as scheduled. On the day of surgery, I had my immediate follow-up appointment with Dr. Tullis. She was very kind and professional. She addressed all my concerns following my cataract surgery earlier that day and assured me that everything was looking normal for this stage of recovery. I look forward to my next appointment with her for further follow-up.

First visit. Cataract evaluation- staff very courteous and friendly, Dr. Fliney explained all my options, clearly and concisely. Has great "bedside manners". Surgery scheduled for May 12th!

Dr. Fliney was extremely knowledgeable and made my iridotomy as least stressful as possible. He was very pleasant and took the time to explain the procedure and exactly what was going to happen. I would highly recommend him.
