Dr. Brekke and his staff are exceptional. He has been our primary veterinarian since 2017 for 2 dogs and 1 cat. I only have positive things to say about this clinic!
I had a wonderful experience with Brekke Veterinary Clinic, thanks in large part to Dr. Jay. He was incredibly caring and compassionate with my beloved pet, Jumoke. From the moment he entered the room, it was clear he truly cares about the animals he treats. He took the time to connect with Jumoke and made both of us feel at ease. Dr. Jay was not only professional and knowledgeable, but also exceptionally thorough. He carefully explained every step of the process, ensuring I understood what was going on and what to expect. His ability to communicate clearly and kindly made a potentially stressful situation feel much more manageable. What stood out the most was his patience and kindness — not just toward Jumoke, but toward me as well. He never rushed, answered all of my questions with empathy, and treated us both with respect and warmth. I left feeling confident that Jumoke had received the best possible care. I’m sure that like my wife and I you want the best care and advice from a veterinarian for the pets you care about. Dr. Jay Brekke has taken terrific care of our pets since we moved here about 6 years ago. He goes the extra mile for his animal patients. He has personally done that for us. My understanding is that the other veterinary clinics in the area are corporately owned now. So, ultimately, the question becomes, where do you think your pet will get the best care? A veterinary practice operated by a corporation trying to make money for its shareholders after buying the practice that used to be owned and operated by the veterinarian who sold his practice to them or by a practice owned and operated by a veterinarian who clearly cares while running a business?
We’ve had great experiences at Brekke Vet Clinic since we moved to Colorado two years ago. The staff is courteous and caring. Dr. Jay explains potential procedures and gives options. We appreciate that he calls personally the next day to explain test results. We have a Golden Retriever who needed surgery. It dramatically improved her mobility. Our 18 year old cat is alive and her quality of life enhanced because of their care. I highly recommend Brekke Vet Clinic.
Love the personalized, friendly, and caring service from this locally owned business. You can tell they truly care for Finn and what they do. Finn actually likes going to the vet! Wouldn't take our fur buddy anywhere else.
