I had been bringing my ram promaster to this shop for years for oil changes and maintenance. Unfortunately, I will never be returning after our last service. A few months back I brought in our van because we had noticed some leaking that looked like it had some oil residue in it. This shop claimed to thoroughly look through all parts of the engine and could not find a source for the leak, claiming that it was just 'rain water' that we were noticing. Unfortunately the leak continued and when we brought it to another shop, they quickly found that the oil filter adapter was the culprit which will now cost us over $1000 in repairs. Beware paying this shop's "diagnostic fee" because they likely won't find the issue.
Excellent follow-up on some issues we were having after the maintenance was completed. They are friendly, trustworthy, and affordable. While they needed to fix a lot of problems for our 20+ year old car I didn't feel like they were upselling me or bringing up unrelated problems.
The Auto Repair Place has gone above and beyond to help me warranty a part that they replaced a couple of years ago. I had been going to them for years while I was studying in Boulder (with both my Jeep and Subaru) and they have always been kind and very communicative. After moving to Canada this past year, I ran into issues with my cat and it needed replacing again. Even though it wasn't clear if this was actually a faulty part or an issue with my car, they worked tirelessly to help me out and get the part warrantied (even through all the complications around getting it across the border). I am very grateful for how graciously they handled the situation and how generous they were with their time and resources. Thank you Auto Repair Place, would highly recommend!
Brought my cargo van in with an oil leak leaving visible stains on pavement. Paid their diagnostic fee to be told no, it's not a leak, it's fine. But the oil stains grew. Another shop immediately found a leak, and it had been long enough that the labor was going to cost over $1k due to the sheer size of the mess. Now having the shop look over everything else they ever repaired.
I came in to get my engine splash shields replaced, and the team here went above and beyond. Not only did they complete the job efficiently, but they also performed a visual inspection and fixed my passenger-side brake lights. I had the pleasure of working with Mike, who is one of the most knowledgeable mechanics I've ever met. If you're looking for a trustworthy auto repair shop in Boulder, I highly recommend this place!
