Worked with Alex Meekin for this Anubis piece. He took great care and attention to detail in not only creating it but also incorporating my vision and his into the work. Alex is a great guy to work with, extremely attentive, understanding, and respectful. He truly does care about each and every piece he works on and takes the time to get to know the customer as well which is refreshing. We got it done in about five hours or so on a Saturday, big thanks to him for taking the time out of his day for me. He’s an amazing artist and I will be a returning customer, as well as that I recommend anyone wanting anything to hit him up!
I've had quite a few tattoos from various artists over the years but after my first piece by Ryan at Castle Rock Tattoo, I will never go anywhere else. Since that first visit, I have gone back for more than a dozen pieces and have no complaints and only good things to say. When it comes to creativity and attention to detail I have never had an artist compare to Ryan. He listens to what I want and then goes to work on making my vision a reality. He spends the necessary time to create my art and then review it with me, checking colors, placement and overall fitment to ensure it's perfect and exactly what I'm looking for. He then goes to work to make a masterpiece that I'll be proud of and happy with forever. I am so pleased with the work he's done that I have recommended him to all my friends and family. I can't say enough good things about this shop and the artists there. You will not be disappointed.
My new recent (2) pieces from Alex Meekin @ Castle Rock Tattoo are the Lillies on my shoulder + hallelujah! He did great work, k great timing too! Something he did for me over winter break was the sun & koi fish is well! I picked all of these out on Pinterest and he made sure it’s exactly done how I liked it including size, color, details, etc. Alex is such a nice / cool guy! He is always willing to do what he can to make it the best tattoo possible! I will continue seeing him my future tats to fill in the entire arm!
My son and I decided to get our first tattoos together. Ryan took such amazing care of both of us. It was such a great experience that we both will always remember. Ryan’s work is phenomenal. He has an eye for detail and fine line. Both tattoos turned out more beautiful than we imagined they would. We will definitely be back in the very near future.
I can't say enough great things about Alex!! He takes his time, never rushes the process, and is incredibly thorough with every detail. What I really appreciate is his honesty — he gives real, thoughtful feedback to make sure the tattoo design not only looks amazing but also fits your vision. On top of being insanely talented, he's just a genuinely great human. You can tell he truly cares about his craft and his clients. I’m beyond happy with my tattoos (I have 4 done by him!) and can’t wait to get more!
