I cannot say enough about how much we appreciate Dr. Leach. She is so compassionate, decisive, and really listens to our concerns. Dr. Leach has been caring for our precious pooch since we brought her home from the rescue as a puppy 2 years ago. We are always confident in the care Dr. Leach provides and recommends. In addition to Dr. Leach, the staff are all very friendly and attentive, from the front desk to the vet techs to the other docs. We've seen multiple vets in this practice and never had a bad experience. It's so easy to schedule appointments online, and they promptly send invoices and exam notes for insurance. We are so happy to have found 5280 vet! Thanks for taking such amazing care of Solovey!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at 5280 Vet. They have been my go-to vet for years and especially recently reminded me why they will be my vet for as long as I live here. My calico kitty, who I've had since she was 5 weeks old, was diagnosed with cancer last year at only 8 year. She wasn't given much time left and I was trying to prepare myself for the inevitable. Unfortunately that came in a super traumatic form and I ended up having to rush her in for an emergency vet appointment. The staff over the phone got me a same day appointment and dealt with my hysteria with such calm grace. When I was in the room the vet and tech laid out options, but also validated me in whatever I decided to do. I didn't want my girl to be in any more pain so through sobs I decided on euthanasia. They both grieved with me and the tech, Noel, came and checked on me multiple times and let me share my girl's story and pictures. She, and the rest of the staff, were such a comfort on one of the worst days of my life. I wouldn't have chosen this as her way to go, but they made it as gentle an experience as possible and maintained such a calm presence even when my girl was fighting them during the sedative injection (she was scared and in a lot of pain). They also let me store her remains in their back freezer while I decided what I wanted to do with them. Even today, as I brought my new kitty in for her first exam, the staff was so kind and the tech, Dre, grieved with me as well as celebrated the new member of my family. Everyone at this clinic is great. The vets are very knowledgeable and helpful and they practice low stress situations, valuing the animal's comfort over forcing them through a traumatic handling situation. They are very non judgemental and always put me at ease and give me any information I need or want. I recommend 5280 Vet to anyone looking for a new practice to bring their littles to. Dr. Leach and the staff have been wonderful. Her follow through, attentiveness and accessibility inspired me to switch vets after 20 years. Of course, her kind and loving treatment of my fur babies, especially with my senior guy, makes me happy.
5280 made all the difference in my soul dogs’ lives. ❤️🩹 Not only did they offer great care and attention to my boys on a regular basis — with truly kind and supportive care from the front desk and vet techs, but with both dogs they caught medical issues long before other vets did. Dr. Leach was and is amazing. This includes several times where Dr. Leach told me to rush one of my dogs to the ER, noticing something seemingly small but which turned out to be critical — in fact, one time I even had to *fight* with an ER vet tech to insist Q get seen, and then they found he had a serious and often fatal (if not found soon enough) autoimmune disease. Each time, Dr Leach’s attention to not just details, but especially to slight shifts in the demeanor and behavior of Rilke + Q made all the difference in extending both their lives and especially the quality of their lives. I will not trust the lives of any dogs I have to any other vet besides Dr Leach, nor any other clinic. ❤️🔥
5280 Veterinary Care has been absolutely wonderful to work with! They’re incredibly accommodating when it comes to my different dogs’ needs—each one has their own quirks, and the team always makes sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. The staff is friendly, patient, and professional. So grateful to have a vet I can trust!
