I was in a bad way when I arrived. Angie’s staff did an amazing job of getting be back to a lovey state.
Found them online and called to ask about bleaching and dying Asian hair. Lady on phone was helpful and they were even able to fit me in same day. Caveat - your wait experience may vary. Anyway, nice friendly service, my stylist was knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. Color and haircut came out as well as I hoped. And the price was very reasonable - I was moved to give a generous tip for her efforts.
I will be back! I have been trimming my own hair for just over 2 years now - I was just trying to grow out my grays. I felt it was time to do a chop since I felt comfortable with the length! I only speak English & staff was super understanding. For a wash, cut, & style (blow out) I paid $45 plus tip *always tip your stylists people* My hair felt fresh, thick, & soft walking out. Last week, I walked into a salon for a blow dry. ( I do apologize in advance if I got the names wrong but from what I remember) The stylist who worked on my hair was Elber, a young man from Venezuela. Another stylist, Edgar, who is Peruvian, was also there but was working on a client. Both of them were wonderful. They were a pleasure to meet, full of character, and had genuine personalities, making the experience fun. They only spoke Spanish, and although I don’t speak Spanish at all, I was able to understand them clearly and used Google Translate when necessary. Their work was fast and efficient, and I was very happy with the outcome. The beauty salon itself was very clean and spacious. While most of the staff only spoke Spanish, it wasn’t a problem for me. They’re someone who can speak English if they are there . The salon only accepts cash, so I recommend calling ahead to ask for the price. If you don’t have cash, there is a pub next to the salon with an ATM. The next day, I received many compliments at work on how my hair turned out. I am planning to get my hair cut there in the future. Having recently moved from South Florida, I had a hard time finding a stylist and am very particular about how I like things done. I have already started recommending this salon to my Spanish-speaking friends and coworkers. I believe their work is excellent and want to make sure others are aware of it. I hope this review is useful.
My hair guy canceledmy appointment I contacted Angies and asked if she had any openings for a cut and color. She stated yes, asked when I would like to come in. I indicated around 2:15, she said okay see you then. I arrived at the salon, she indicated the cut and color was going to start at $240 and I would have to wait 30 minutes. I decided to leave. The point is that she had me drive all that way thinking I was going to get services and then she puposely detoured me with a wait time and higher than usual price! This was a waste of my time.
