I've had quite a few tattoos from various artists over the years but after my first piece by Ryan at Castle Rock Tattoo, I will never go anywhere else. Since that first visit, I have gone back for more than a dozen pieces and have no complaints and only good things to say. When it comes to creativity and attention to detail I have never had an artist compare to Ryan. He listens to what I want and then goes to work on making my vision a reality. He spends the necessary time to create my art and then review it with me, checking colors, placement and overall fitment to ensure it's perfect and exactly what I'm looking for. He then goes to work to make a masterpiece that I'll be proud of and happy with forever. I am so pleased with the work he's done that I have recommended him to all my friends and family. I can't say enough good things about this shop and the artists there. You will not be disappointed.
My son and I decided to get our first tattoos together. Ryan took such amazing care of both of us. It was such a great experience that we both will always remember. Ryan’s work is phenomenal. He has an eye for detail and fine line. Both tattoos turned out more beautiful than we imagined they would. We will definitely be back in the very near future.
I found Alex Meekin on instagram, I loved his work and hit him up to book a realistic black and grey piece to start my sleeve. He was responsive and friendly immediately and had time for me a week later. It was awesome to see he was excited to do this grizzly and cubs as a nod to my kids. His design was EXCELLENT, I left it up to him and it was beautiful! Pretty much what I was picturing in my head. He was gentle and worked quickly, still paying close attention to detail and we got it all done in about 5 hours. He had awesome ideas on how to build off of this piece and I’m hyped. The place was cozy, clean and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. They had complementary drinks and snacks, which was a nice touch as well. Definitely worth the 2 hour drive!!!!!!! I brought a friend with me who wanted something done too and Alex made time to squeeze him in after me. Seriously. This guy rocks! I’m 3 days into the healing and it still looks amazing! I’m excited to work with Alex again and I’m referring everyone I know. Thank you so much!!
Cannot recommend Castle Rock Tattoo & Laser and Alex Meekin enough! The shop is always welcoming, super clean, and professional. Alex Meekin has done a few of my tattoos, and he is not only incredibly talented but his attention to detail is amazing - every tattoo exceeds expectations. His care for his clients and work shines through every time. He is thoughtful, listens to your ideas and provides great feedback, and makes sure everything is clean and you feel comfortable. Also big shoutout to Tammy, who was working at the desk during my visit today. Tammy made sure I was at ease during my visit and her care for the shop shines through when you see how well maintained it is and happy everyone there is. I already have my next appointment booked ;)
I cannot believe how good it looks! Alex Meekin did an amazing job on this American traditional inspired by Jane Russel! I drove about an hour in a snowstorm for his talents! The shop is clean, comfortable and has great insights into all things tattoo. Go check them out!!!!
