We have been going here for two decades. They are attentive and have helped our dogs live a happy healthy life. The staff is easy to work with, friendly and genuinely care about providing the best care possible for our furry family members. We can highly recommend Chatfield Veterinary Hospital.
ALL of the vets at this practice are amazing ❤️ From all the care and time that Dr. Naturman put in for my precious Rottweiler who passed earlier this year, to my Pittie who has a slew of issues and then Dr. Hirshan who recently helped diagnose my cat with heart failure. I am at this clinic a lot due to all my animals issues and I feel taken care of with each vet visit.
We had been taking our babies here for a few years. They had us believing that both of the dogs had allergies. It was true for one but not the other. We recently moved out of state just to find out what Chatfield kept treating as an allergy was actually a tumor in my dogs paw. He has since had surgery to remove one of his toes. Thankfully the tumor was non cancers and he will make a full recovery. I feel like we wasted a lot of money on unnecessary treatments. When an xray could have been done and would've shown the tumor. To date he is not on an medication and is doing good. I wish at time we would have gotten a second opinion.You will find it under Ardon for Job he is our dog that I'm talking about. If you look at his records he was treat last for allergies on his right paw. We no longer live in Colorado and he has already been treated and doing fine Thank you.
They treated both my “easy” dog and “difficult” dog very well. They realized that my difficult dog would be worse off with a muzzle which other vets have jumped at. They were extremely understanding of different breeds and their personalities. They also offered the more expensive services without the pressure to pursue them like other vets. All of the staff are fantastic!
Even though I haven't had to take all of my current fur babies here for treatment (thankfully) I had to make a visit for my oldest pup for some age-related issues. Have also taken other pets here over the years, so that obviously tells you we trust the vets and staff! Staff immediately made an appointment (within a day) spent ample time with my pup, gave a comprehensive diagnosis, and some medication that helped immensely. Then, followed up with a phone call about a week later to check on my pooch.
