Dr. Whatcott and his staff are very friendly and professional. They spent 1 1/2 hours with me going over my dental needs and I left feeling very comfortable and confident that they have my best interest at heart. I believe Dr. Whatcott will do everything he can for my dental health. If you need a thorough dental examination I highly recommend this office.
I only went to see Dr. Whatcott for a consultation, and he spent more time than my usual dentist evaluating my teeth via X-Rays, images, and even AI-powered software. He and his staff were friendly and helpful. He really is genuinely concerned with all aspects of dental care. I cannot recommend him enough.
I've been a patient at Colorado Advanced Dentistry for over 10 years. During that time, the hygienists were wonderful. Julia was a favorite of mine and my husband's. I was a little apprehensive about continuing here as I was not comfortable with the last hygienist who I believe was temporary. All of that changed after my appointment yesterday with Danielle. She is very personable, communicates well and did a gentle and thorough teeth cleaning. She also provided great tips for tweaking my dental care at home. The communication between she and Dr. Whatcott during my appointment gave me a great sense of comfort. I highly recommend Dr. Whatcott and his team.
I've been a patient here for a couple years, and appreciate the care I have received. The cleanings and advice I received on at-home care has really helped my gum health. As another review mentioned, the hygenist turnover and temporary hygenist experience was not ideal. However, that seems resolved, and the new permanent hygenist, Danielle, is fantastic--really gentle and thorough.
My experience suggests that this dental practice may be operated by a private equity firm that incentivizes dentists and assistants to pressure new clients into accepting expensive and potentially unnecessary dental procedures. As a new patient, I completed the intake form and specifically requested a standard examination and cleaning, services typically covered by insurance for an initial visit. I also noted my interest in teeth whitening. Unfortunately, this seemed to trigger an attempt by CAD to upsell me on additional dental work that I believe may not be required but would financially benefit the office. My suspicion is based on observing a large whiteboard in the dentist's back office during my examination. This board clearly displayed projected and current sales income for April, along with the sales goals for May.
