Through the years we have worked with several contractors and Down to Earth Landscaping stands out by a mile. The owners Chuck, Jeff and the project manager Colin and their entire team were very professional, communicative and meticulous from day one. The work crew showed up every day, Monday through Friday and they completed the project right on time in 5 weeks as they estimated. Today our backyard has been completely transformed into a place that we are proud to host friends and relax with the family. Every detail from the stonework to the lighting was done with precision and care. Truly a top tier experience!

Over the past two years, DTE has helped us completely transform our outdoor space. When we began, the yard was lifeless and dusty. We wanted to create an outdoor design that framed the historic nature of the property and created more functional zones for outdoor entertainment and events. DTE's team is exceptional. They are all attention to detail, kind and work hard to make sure all facets of a project are done correctly. We decided to break our plan into three phases over three years and they have been exceptional partners in this large project thus far. We did try to work with other landscaping companies and crews and found that DTE truly is the best. If you are seeking a team that is as dedicated to your outdoor space as you are, this is the company to hire. We contacted DTE with a large and ambitious project, revamping a sizable backyard from the ground up. Chuck was the last of 3 bids and the decision was an easy one based on the immediate personable approach. Each step forward embraced that same thoughtfulness and customer centric mindset across the entire DTE team, working closely with us on every detail over many months to finish with a show-stopping final product. The DTE Landscaping Team is the best of the best. They transformed our yard to the best possible outdoor living space we could ever imagine. They did our front and backyard (pictures below of the backyard, now and before their transformation, as well as the new front yard). From the onset of the process, Chuck and Jeff were consummate professionals, and frankly, just wonderful human beings. They clearly explained their process, what to expect and were always open to questions. We ended up adding pavers to our plan (I highly recommend!), as well as fencing. They were flexible and accommodating. Their crew was equally as professional and wonderful. Colin, the foreman, took a genuine interest in our family's needs, and really got to know us to ensure the space was what we were looking for. Colin took time to answer our questions and brought a unique perspective to the project from design to construction, and everything in between. He truly took on this project with pride, as if it was his outdoor living space. Pedro, Colin, Peter and Will were amazing, hard workers and always willing to help. Pedro took the time to explain the irrigation system in detail to my husband, and his expertise in this area is top notch. While our 'job' was finished today, we cannot wait to call on the DTE Landscaping for future enhancements, such as a fire pit, in the future.
