While vacationing in Denver, my car's engine suddenly began seriously misfiring. It was our last day in Denver and we had to make a 13-hour return trip to Texas the next day. Other mechanics turned us away (since it was a last-minute issue on Friday afternoon) before we found Nichols Auto Repair. James and Mark were incredibly transparent and understanding about our situation. They fixed our car quickly and we made it all the way back home in one piece. I'm so glad we found Nichols. Thank you guys again for helping us get home safely! I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

Great place, and especially good service. The owner is a nice guy and dose his best to work with you. He understands that not everyone can afford automotive service in this day and age. I've been going to him since 2019 and have had no problems. I've watched his shop grow into what it is today.
P.S. Don't forget to check out his dope ventage Toy store next door.

This place is awesome. Great communication, actively listens, total transparency, and my vehicle is running like new. Thanks again James and everyone over at Nichols!
If you or those close to you need a great mechanic this is the right place.
They accept Snap Financing which means you can get repairs and pay over time what you can afford.
Highly recommended

Great auto shop. Still lets you buy parts and pay for labor if you so choose. Pretty car saavy/ mechanically inclined myself and the price i pay is very appropriate. They are the best. Literally does everything he can to help out. They almost always find a way to squeeze me in. Would recommend to anybody

My 80 yr old father pulled in straight off of the street with vehicle acting up. Owner said he could get it done that day to replace the alternater. Was assured that it was a new factor alternater and NOT refurbished after asking very pointedly about the condition of the part AFTER it was installed (my husband was standing right next to my father and heard the guy say "it's new". Why would he say it's new but then charge my father for a refurbished one?
You can probably guess what happened. My 80 yr old father got home and inspected his beloved Cherokee only to find the big, bold REFURBISHED label on the alternater. Two stars only because they completed the work same day. Cost was over $600 total to verify that he were charged for a new part.
UPDATE: The shop is trying to respond to my reviews claiming they only charged us for a refurbished one and that a new one would be "a few hundred more." A new one from Autozone costs $149. This shop is trying to pull a fast one on someone who could have rebuilt the entire engine a few years ago.
