Mo and Michael are real family. Mo waited for me to arrive after running 30 minutes late. He still spent time and took no short cuts. As a matter of fact he added extra time to make sure the cut was perfect. Who else would do that. These two brothers run an amazing business. Mo never made you feel bad for running late. This is how customers should be treated like family. If you're thinking about getting a cut, just do it. They will treat you right!!!! Gracias Mo and Michael!!!! for being amazing.

Got a cut from AJ, and honestly, I regret it. The haircut was overpriced and lacked any real skill or finesse for longer hair. This place specializes in charging a premium for basic fades in an awkward atmosphere.
Customer service? Practically nonexistent.
The vibes? Uncomfortable at best.
Haircare products? Overpriced and not worth it.
And good luck trying to get in touch with them—they’re about as responsive as a brick wall.
Save yourself the trouble (and the money) and go somewhere that actually cares about their craft and their customers. Hard pass on this place

Have been going to steel and lather for several years even when they had the other location and now this location with Alison. She’s amazing and the shop is such a good vibe. The owners take care of their employees and customers.

Moses was great. Took his time. Made sure he listened to what I was asking for and I came out with a great cut and that I will definitely be going back for again

Avoid this place. Terrible customer service. I was cancelled on several times with no warning, after making a reservation. First time I showed up and they told me my barber had already left. I was perfectly on time. Second time I was only a couple minutes late cause of unforeseen traffic. I showed up and they tell me “we’re running behind” and had to reschedule me. 0 warning: no calls or texts. Showed up twice just to get sent home. Won’t be returning.
