I had a very good experience with this salon! I suffer from severe social anxiety so making this appointment was a very big deal to me. I've never been to an actual hair salon before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I talked with Luke on the phone to set the appointment. He was very nice and making the appointment was super easy. I was very nervous going into the salon, but when I got there everyone was very sweet and the vibe was really chill so that eased my anxiety a lot. The building itself was also really cool on the inside and I liked the esthetics of it. I worked with Gabrial on getting a shaggy pixie. I appreciate the thorough consultation we had to make sure he knew the vision I had and to set us both up for success. The hair washing felt really nice and he really took his time with the hair cut to make sure it was even and looked good. Even though we didn't talk much through the appointment, I did appreciate that as well since that was the part I was most nervous about. I didn't feel pressued or awkward to keep up with a conversation and I could just sit and relax while he did my hair. I feel very cute with my new haircut and my hair feels very nice! I will definitely be coming back for touch ups and hopefully other services in the future. ♡
Absolutely fantastic cut. Amazing atmosphere with an amazing cut that followed exactly what reference pictures I was able to provide in a way that still complimented my individual face structure. Cianna was very genial and transparent and helped me to become more confident with cutting my hair shorter than it's been in almost a decade. Attached is an after picture :)) will definitely be coming back, even if it's just when I come back from college.
I had a biolage done by a friend about 6-8 months ago, but it became quite brassy over time, so I decided it was time for a change. I scheduled an appointment with Luke and explained that I wanted to address the brassiness in my hair. Luke went above and beyond to help me find a solution, and we ended up doing cool-toned highlights that transformed my hair completely! I felt a huge boost in confidence! Luke was very kind and gentle, taking his time to ensure everything was perfect. He was also really enjoyable to talk to, making me feel at ease like an old friend. I highly recommend Tease and Luke as a stylist—thank you, Luke!
During the hair cut process it felt like a toddler was just chopping away at my hair, it felt uncontrolled and like there was no goal. During blow drying the stylist was throwing my hair in all sorts of directions with her hands and the dryer, my hair was in my face and I was so itchy. They didn't even push my hair out of my face when they were done, I did. In terms of the cut, it was just a trim and nothing more. I asked for layers, something that I thought was basic for hair. You can see in my photos how uneven the cut was. One side is totally slanted and shorter than the other. I called to hopefully have someone fix my hair, I didn't reach someone so I left a voicemail. No one got back to me and that just goes to show how they value their customers. However, this of course only speaks for my stylist and not the salon as a whole. Although, them ignoring my message and not reaching out to fix a bad haircut is horrible customer service and there is no excuse for that.
Jeannie is a star. She is thorough, patient, brilliant and gave me a beautiful full highlight with perfect highlights and lowlights. She is wonderful! The salon is overall fantastic!
